Chalk the Block
Chalk the Block returns to the Downtown Arts District for a weekend of public art, performances and hands-on activities. The free festival brings together more than 100 local and visiting artists and features its signature sidewalk chalk art competition alongside interactive art installations, live music and dance, food trucks and artisan vendors. Museums and cultural institutions throughout the district will also offer activities, including the El Paso Museum of Art, El Paso Museum of History and Mexican American Cultural Center. The 2026 schedule includes five featured art installations as well as performances on multiple stages.

Usher and Chris Brown

‘Where It Began: Civil Rights & the El Paso Branch of the NAACP’
The El Paso Museum of History and NAACP El Paso Branch Unit 6175 will present a pop-up exhibition exploring the history of the organization and Black El Pasoans’ fight for civil rights. Opening in conjunction with the 2026 NAACP State Convention in El Paso, the exhibition highlights figures including Dr. Lawrence A. Nixon, a founding member of the El Paso branch who challenged discriminatory voting laws in Texas.

Héroes del Futuro
Lucha libre stars Blue Demon Jr. and El Paso’s Cinta de Oro will headline Héroes del Futuro, a family-friendly professional wrestling event benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of El Paso. Rocking the Rez Pow Wow

Mexican Revolution Tour
The Tom Lea Institute will host a free walking tour exploring El Paso’s role in the Mexican Revolution and the Downtown sites connected to the conflict. Led by historian Bernie Sargent, the tour will examine places where revolutionaries gathered and deals were made, along with connections between the revolution, artist Tom Lea and Mexican illustrator José Cisneros. Get Your Rear In Gear – El Paso

Coming Up
EPPM America 250 Premiere
El Paso Pro-Musica will present “Visions of Humanity and Unity,” a commissioned America 250 project featuring works by five composers inspired by the Declaration of Independence. The world premiere will feature the Arianna String Quartet, Grammy-winning cellist and EPPM Artistic Director Zuill Bailey and pianist Dominic Dousa, with the program also commemorating Beethoven’s 250th anniversary.

Mission Trail Music Festival

EPSO: Heaven on Earth

Brew at the Zoo

Amigo Airsho
