The new $9.00/day long-term airport parking fee went into effect in March as a result of the FY26 budget vote, which also increased our City property tax by 5.2%.
Rep. Lily Limón cast the only dissenting vote.
Thus a weekend, three-day parking bill now runs $27.00 instead of $21.00, plus tax.
In 2009, the fee was $4.00/day.
