El Paso Taxpayer Revolt – INTRODUCING OUR FIVE TAXING ENTITIES: CITY, COUNTY, SCHOOL DISTRICT, UMC, AND EPCC

These are the five entities that together comprise our property tax bill and greedily consume our property tax dollars.

All five eat from the same trough and each tries to snatch more of our money than the other four.

Ten years ago our City accounted for 25% of our property tax bill and now it accounts for more than 29%, because it was for a long time the strongest pig.

Now it is the County that is muscling into the trough to grab as much feed as possible, in a rapacious struggle to become the fattest of them all!
