Museums to Open Sundays: The El Paso Museum of Art, 1 Arts Festival Plaza, and the El Paso Museum of History, 510 N. Santa Fe Street, will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays starting this weekend. The museums are also open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday. Previously, both museums were closed on Sundays. Admission to both is free and free metered parking is available Downtown on Sundays.
Breastfeeding Group Relocates: El Jardín Birth and Family Resource Center’s free breastfeeding support group has moved to Luna Tierra Birth Center at 4130 Hueco Avenue in Central El Paso, about three-and-a-half miles away from its previous location. Public health advocate and certified lactation consultant Libby Berkeley organizes the meetup every Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Berkeley and other volunteers help mothers who are struggling to breastfeed.
The group, along with the restaurant One Grub Community Diner, vacated their building after contract disagreements with new landlord Spaghetti Bowl Properties. The restaurant and its nonprofit Planty for the People are still searching for a new location.

Preferred qualifications include finance and business expertise, strategic planning experience and civic leadership, while commercial real estate contracting experience is valuable but not required. The unpaid, two-year term would run through Dec. 31, 2025. Apply online here; mail your application to County Administration 500 E. San Antonio, Suite 302A El Paso, Texas 79901; or fax it to (915) 546-2217. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24. Information: Claudia Murguia at (915) 546-2215.
