Trucks from the Lower Valley Water District are on the scene dealing with the problem, officials from the water district said.

According to the water district, a sewage pump went out in the neighborhood causing a backup.

The Lower Valley Water District says it has replaced the pump and they are working to pump out the sewage that spilled onto residential properties.

The district says it will be self-reporting the spill to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
