It’s a wonderful feeling to wake up to rain in El Paso. Our Weather Watcher Brigitte Lewis captured this picture this morning. As expected, the low-pressure system coming out of California arrived and delivered several waves of showers. Officially at the airport, we recorded .09 inches. Some of the heaviest rainfall fell in Dona Ana and Luna Counties in New Mexico. Your forecast is below…
TONIGHT: The skies will remain mostly cloudy overnight. Expect a few more scattered rain showers before midnight before the chance of rain drops off significantly. The SW winds will range from 5-15 mph, and the low will drop to 42.
FORECAST: Wednesday will be partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of a few light rain showers here and there. The low-pressure system that brought us the rain will slowly spin away to the east leaving partly cloudy skies then clearing skies late in the day. With a high of 59, the SW winds will range from 10-25 mph. Thursday will be partly cloudy and 61. Friday will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny with a slight chance of a few raindrops in the morning. The afternoon will be mostly sunny with moderate winds and a high of 60. Saturday will be sunny and 63. Sunday will be sunny and 66. Monday will be sunny and 71.
