EL PASO, Texas (Border Report) – Juarez police have pulled three bodies from the backyard of a home on the southeast edges of the city.
Chihuahua state police officers surrounded the home on Tuesday afternoon after receiving information from a source regarding the whereabouts of a recent homicide victim.
The search yielded the remains of three people from a clandestine grave in the back of the home, investigators told a KTSM/Border Report camera crew. The victims’ identities and official cause of death are pending.
The home is in the Erendida neighborhood 2 miles from the Rio Grande and the border wall at San Elizario, Texas.
Juarez has recorded 78 homicides so far in January.
