EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A total of six smuggled migrants were located inside a stash house in East El Paso on Wednesday, Jan. 31, according to the El Paso Border Patrol Sector.
CBP says Ysleta agents assigned to the Anti-Smuggling Unit received information that led to the identification of a stash house located near the intersection of Joe Battle Boulevard and Pellicano Drive on Wednesday.
CBP says a total of six smuggled migrants, Mexican Nationals, were located inside the residence and four U.S. Citizens were involved in the smuggling scheme.
The migrants will be processed for removal and the USC will face charges for the smuggling scheme under 8 USC 1324, according to CBP.
The Texas Department of Public Safety, the El Paso Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations all collaborated on this incident.
