EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Las Cruces Police Department will be holding a news conference at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at Las Cruces City Hall located on 700 N. Main St., to discuss the death of Police Officer Jonah Hernandez.
The news conference will be televised live in standard definition on CLCTV, Comcast Cable channel 20, and in high definition on Comcast Cable channel 928. The news conference will also be live streamed at clctv.com and on the City’s YouTube channel.
The Las Cruces Police Officers Association has also established a GoFundMe for donations on behalf of Hernandez. To donate click here: GoFundMe for Officer Jonah Hernadez
Donations can also be made at any Citizens Bank of Las Cruces branch in Las Cruces. Those who donate are asked to make checks or money orders payable to the “Benefit of Jonah Hernandez” fund.
Checks made out to the “Benefit of Jonah Hernandez” fund can also be dropped off at the Las Cruces Police Department.
The Las Cruces Police Department is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays and is located on 217 E. Picacho Ave.
“The Police Officers Association ensures that all proceeds generated on either account will go directly to the family of fallen officer Jonah Hernandez,” the association said.
