What a gorgeous Sunday!! With sunshine and a high of 62, I decided to trim back my lantana shrubs. (Gardening note: If you have not trimmed them back yet, please do so right away. Cut them to stems of about 6 inches from the base. It will look ugly, but it will come back stronger and fuller than ever when temperatures warm.)
Monday’s high was 74. I expect tomorrow to pop up to 79; so grab those pruning shears, and get out there and prune!!
TONIGHT: The skies will be clear, and the winds will be light out of the SW at 5-15 mph. The low will drop to 42 at the airport, 38 in the valley.
