EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A 30-year-old man is dead after he allegedly conducted a home invasion and initiated a confrontation early Thursday morning, Feb. 29 in East El Paso, according to the El Paso Police.
Police say that around 2:25 a.m. officers responded to the 11600 block of Gordon Bays on a report of a stabbing.
Police said Miguel Angel Jauregui, 30, arrived at the residence and began a confrontation with a 38-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man, whom police did not identify by name.
Police say that Crimes Against Persons arrived at the scene and further investigation revealed that Jauregui had previously sent “threatening messages” to both victims.
Police said Jauregui later showed up to the residence, forced his way inside and began stabbing the 34-year-old man, according to police.
Police did not say how the suspect, Jauregui, died.
Police say no criminal charges has been filed and the Crime Against Persons continues investigating.
