EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A 23-year-old woman was arrested Thursday, Feb. 29 after firing a gun outside a bar in East El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department.
Police say that officers responded at 2:25 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 29 to the Trophy Room Bar located at 9627 Sims Dr. to a shooting.
While officers were at the scene, they heard a sound of a gunshot coming from the parking lot area, according to police.
Police say officers located Emily Hale, 23, inside of a vehicle making “suspicious” movements and reaching towards the passenger seat.
Officers were able to locate a pistol underneath the passenger seat of the vehicle Hale was operating, according to police.
Hale was arrested and charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon with a $1,500 bond and discharge of a firearm in certain municipalities with a $1,500 bond.
She was then booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
