El Paso averaged 2,245 active home listings per month in 2023, up from 1,847 in 2022, according to Greater El Paso Association of Realtors Market statistics.
However, new home listings dropped slightly in 2023, with 10,917 new homes for sale last year compared to 11,176 in 2022, a 2.3% decrease.
The number of El Paso home sales in 2023 lagged behind those in 2022: 7,981 compared to 9,330, a 14.4% decrease.
Statewide, there were 327,921 home sales in 2023, down 11% from 2022, Texas A&M Real Estate Research Center Data shows.
The median sales price for an El Paso home in 2022 was $236,635 and $253,686 in 2023. That’s below the median price in the state, which was $340,000 in 2022 and $335,100 in 2023, according to A&M’s data.
