SAN DIEGO (Border Report) — Mexico’s National Guard has sent 240 soldiers to Tijuana to help ongoing efforts to fight crime south of the border and support others who have been in the region since last year.
The primary goal, according to a statement from the military, is to “reduce crime and guarantee peace, freedom and liberty for the public.”
