EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) —An 8-year-old girl from El Paso has died after a rollover crash in Hudspeth County early Wednesday morning, March 13, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
DPS says just after 4 a.m., a vehicle was traveling in the right lane on I-10 East near Van Horn.
DPS says the driver of the vehicle failed to stay in a single lane and headed south off the roadway. The vehicle then rolled over and came to a rest on its right side.
DPS says the vehicle had four passengers including the 8-year-old girl who died.
Two other people were injured. However, DPS did not clarify the severity of their injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
