NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – New Mexico State Police is reporting that an officer was shot and killed Friday morning. State Police say the crime took place on I-40 west of Tucumcari.
Details are still limited, but police say the suspect was last seen wearing a brown hoodie and jacket. The scene is still active, and anyone with information is asked to contact NMSP. KRQE News 13 will provide updates as more information is released.
