EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Police are continuing to search for the person or persons responsible for killing one person and wounding three others during a shooting outside an East El Paso bar over the weekend.
Police responded to a shooting at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday, March 16 at the Rock City Bar and Grill at 2285 Trawood.
A total of four people were shot in the incident and one of them, identified as 37-year-old Mario Daniel Avalos, died from his injuries at the hospital, police said.
The other victims were a 20-year-old woman, a 28-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man. We are not reporting the names of the other three victims because they are the victims of an apparent crime.
Over the weekend, police initially said the shooting happened after a dispute at the bar. They did not specify a motive in the news release they sent out identifying the victims.
Police say they are continuing to investigate the incident and want anyone with information to come forward.
