EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person is dead in a multi-vehicle crash that is causing major backup in East El Paso along Interstate 10 on Saturday evening, March 23, El Paso Police say.
The crash happened at about 4:40 p.m. at Interstate 10 at the Lee Trevino on-ramp, police said.
Special Traffic Investigations unit is on the scene investigating a rollover crash involving a semi-truck. Fire dispatch said that five vehicles were involved with the crash.
TxDOT says that all lanes along Interstate 10 at Lee Trevino are closed as is Gateway East in the same area.
Fire dispatch said one other person was transported with minor injuries (code 1).
