El Paso Taxpayer Revolt – EL PASO WAGES RANK 354TH OF THE 360 LARGEST AMERICAN COUNTIES

Yesterday Vic Kolenc of the El Paso Times published new information from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics showing that El Paso County has the 7th lowest average wage of the 360 American counties that had at least 75,000 employed residents in 2022.

In addition, El Paso has the 4th lowest average wage among the 26 largest Texas counties.

As of 2022, El Paso County had 327,800 wage-earners, who took home an average of $924 per week. That is 31% lower than the state average of $1,336.

But Rep. Cassandra Hernandez and certain others still think we should be investing in arenas, water parks, trolleys, and other government entertainment projects.
