EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) El Paso has released a list of road closures for March 30, which could affect your commute.
I-10 Widening West
50 HOUR CLOSURE – Saturday, April 6 at 4 a.m., through Monday, April 8 at 6 a.m.
Eastbound I-10 will be closed at Vinton Road.
DETOUR: Take Exit 2 (Spur 37/Vinton Road/Westway Drive), right on Spur 37, left on Doniphan, left on Talbot Avenue, left on Spur 16, right on South Desert Boulevard and proceed through Artcraft Road, Redd Road, Thorn Avenue, and Mesa Street, and enter I-10 using the Mesa Street CD Lanes.
Crews will be opening a second lane on eastbound I-10.
New configuration beginning Monday, April 8 at 6 a.m.
Eastbound I-10 will be open to two lanes of traffic south of Transmountain Road.
Two lanes of traffic will re-enter the main lanes of I-10 north of Transmountain Road.
Traffic bound for Transmountain Road and Artcraft Road will continue on South Desert Boulevard.
Saturday, April 6 at 9 p.m., through Monday, April 8 at 6 a.m., and Saturday, April 13 at 9 p.m., through Monday, April 15 at 6 a.m.
Westbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic between David Road and Vinton Road.
North Desert Boulevard will be reduced to one lane at Los Mochis Drive.
DETOUR: Continue on North Desert Boulevard, re-enter I-10 past Vinton Road.
Crews will be placing bridge decks.
Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9 from 9 p.m. through 5 a.m.
South Desert Boulevard will be closed between Artcraft Road and Redd Road.
DETOUR: Turn right on SH 178 (Artcraft Road), turn left on SH 20 (Doniphan Drive), turn left on Redd Road, and turn right on South Desert Boulevard.
Crews will be relocating concrete safety barriers.
I-10 Mill and Inlay Project
Monday, April 1 through Thursday, April 4 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Nightly)
I-10 westbound between Sunland Park and Resler closed.
Detour to I-10 westbound: Use CD lanes at Exit 13 Paisano/Sunland Park exit.
Crews will be working on milling and inlay.
Friday, April 5 through Monday, April 8 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Continuous)
I-10 eastbound between Mesa and Sunland Park closed.
Mesa on-ramp closed.
Detour to I-10 eastbound: stay on CD lanes at Exit 13 Paisano/Sunland Park exit. Stay in left lane to take on-ramp to enter I-10 eastbound.
Crews will be working on milling and inlay.
Bridge Rehab at Executive Center & Bridge Rehab at Geronimo
Monday April 1 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Nightly)
I-10 west- and eastbound at Executive Center Blvd full closure.
Crews will be cleaning and sealing armor joints.

Crews will be repairing spalls.
North Mesa Street Rehabilitation Project

Purple Heart Highway (SL 375) north- and southbound left inside lane closure between Montana Avenue and Spur 601.
Crews will be removing demo and hauling material.
Loop 375 Widening Project

Loop 375 south- and northbound main lane closure between North Loop Overpass and Zaragoza (P.O.E) Overpass.
Zaragoza, Pan American and South Americas Truck (P.O.E) Underpass alternating complete closures.
