Be grateful for the morning rain because it is helping a bit with areas of blowing dust. We remain under a Wind Advisory until 9 PM. Our Weather Watcher Brenda Yocom shared this striking picture of orange clouds. One thing I can say about El Paso clouds… they’re always changing and very beautiful.
TONIGHT: The skies will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers, gusty winds, and areas of blowing dust. The west winds will range from 15-55 mph, with the strongest gusts on the east slopes of the mountains. Add if a few more scattered showers here and there for a real mess. A Wind Advisory is posted until 9 PM. Early in the morning, the winds will die down, and the low will drop to 45.
FORECAST: Tuesday will be partly to mostly cloudy with a few drops of rain here and there (nothing significant). Enjoy lighter winds that will be variable at 5-20 mph. Tuesday’s high: 64. Wednesday will be sunny and beautiful with a high of 74 and light winds. The warm breeze will be from the SW at 5-20 mph. Thursday will be sunny, warmer, and nearly perfect with a high of 82. On Friday, the SW winds begin to pick up a bit, gusting to near 30 mph. This will elevate the high to 85. Saturday will bring powerful winds and blowing dust as the high drops to 69* (* indicates a morning high).
