EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — All singers and bands, this opportunity can be your time to shine!
The New Mexico State Fair is searching for talented performers to sing the national anthem at seven events during the fair.
According to the press release sent out by the New Mexico State Fair, auditions will be held in-person and virtually.
For in-person auditions, they will be held at the Boxcar Stage at the New Mexico State Fairgrounds on from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6.
Virtual auditions should be a recorded video of the performance with a public link.
Individuals and groups of all ages may enter but groups may not have more than four members, according to the New Mexico State Fair.
Deadline to apply is on Monday, Aug. 5.
A panel of judges will evaluate all auditions and each winner will receive two tickets to the event they are performing for that day.
