EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety were involved in a pursuit Tuesday morning, April 9 that started in Anthony and ended in East El Paso, according to a DPS spokesman.
Details are still limited but according to DPS, the pursuit involved a vehicle suspected of migrant smuggling.
The pursuit began on Vinton Road in Anthony, crossed into New Mexico and back into Texas again, according to DPS.
Troopers disabled the vehicle they were pursuing near the intersection of Pebble Hills off Loop 375.
An unknown number of suspected migrants were turned over to DPS.
DPS did not say if the driver was arrested.
