KTSM News – Traffic hazard causes long-term closure near Downtown El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A traffic hazard is currently causing backup to Downtown El Paso, according to TxDOT El Paso.

TxDOT says a traffic hazard on I-10 West after Prospect has closed the right two lanes as well as the Santa Fe entrance ramp.

TxDOT says the closure will be long term in order to fix the issue and is asking motorists to proceed with caution or take the Border West Expressway to avoid the hazard.

TxDOT did not specify what the traffic hazard was.
