EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Fifteen people were injured, including one person with critical injuries, when an SUV crashed into a Savers store in Las Cruces on Tuesday morning, April 30, a Las Cruces Police spokesman said.
The incident happened at about 10 a.m. when a Ford Explorer hit the store at 2340 N. Main St., a police spokesman said.
Ten people were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, including one person who was critically injured. Five people were injured but refused transportation.
Access to the parking lot at the store remains blocked at this time as emergency responders work the scene.
