KTSM News – UTEP to hold Spring Graduation this weekend

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) will be hosting four spring commencement ceremonies this weekend.

The graduations will take place on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 at the Don Haskins Center, located at 151 Glory Road.

The following schedules will be for the specific college ceremonies:

Saturday, May 11

College of Liberal Arts, commencement will begin at 1 p.m.

College of Education and College of Engineering, commencement will begin at 6 p.m.

Sunday, May 12

College of Health Sciences and College of Nursing, commencement will begin at 1 p.m.

College of Science, Woody L. Hunt College of Business and School of Pharmacy, commencement will begin at 6 p.m.

Admission tickets are not required to enter the ceremonies.

The pickaxe sculpture located at the Sun Bowl-University Roundabout, the “M” on the mountain and One San Jacinto Plaza will all be lit to commemorate the graduating class, according to UTEP.

Free parking will be located in a perimeter lots off of Sun Bowl Drive and Glory Road, including UTEP parking lots GR2 and SB7, according to UTEP. Paid parking will be available in the Glory Road Parking Garage.
