EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Sunland Park Fire rescued one person from the Rio Grande on Friday, May 10.
According to Sunland Park Fire through their X account, fire personnel rescued the person from a sandbar in the river off of Racetrack Drive.

No injuries were reported and the individual rescued was turned over to Customs and Border Protection, according to Sunland Park Fire.
