KTSM News – Busy Field of Dreams dispensary closed for not paying rent

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One of the busiest legal cannabis dispensaries in Sunland Park, New Mexico, has had its doors padlocked by their landlord for non-payment of rent.

A notice of lockout and termination was placed on the front door of Field of Dreams dispensary, 159 Sunland Park Dr.

The notice of nonpayment of rent was posted on Tuesday, May 14.

Field of Dreams is the No. 2 dispensary in the entire State of New Mexico in terms of sales, according to the state agency that regulates legal cannabis sales.

According to the notice, the owners of the business are in default for not paying their rent and have breached their agreement with the landlord.
