EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Yelp released the top 100 barbecue spots in the U.S., and a restaurant from El Paso has made it on the list.

Ranking at No. 74, Desert Oak Barbecue located at 11411 Gateway Blvd W, El Paso, TX 79936 has been named as one of the top 100 barbecue spots in the nation.

Desert Oak Barbecue is the only restaurant from El Paso to have been named on the list.
The successful business started as a food truck in 2015 and by 2017 Desert Oak Barbecue had officially opened as a restaurant, according to their website.
“Fast forward and we have now been on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, featured in Texas Monthly’s Top 50 Barbecue Joints,” the website said.
