EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Police responded to reports of a school threat at a charter school in West El Paso on Friday morning, May 17, police said.
IDEA Mesa Hills, 405 Wallenberg Dr., is on lockdown and is being cleared as a precaution, police said. The call came in at 11:30 a.m.
The threat appears to be non-credible at this point in the investigation, police said.
Police said they do not have anyone in custody or any suspects.
A spokesperson for El Paso ISD said that nearby Charles Q. Murphree PK-8 has been placed on a secure protocol as a precaution.
