EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A shooting closed down a section of US-54 Northbound in Central El Paso on Wednesday, May 22, according to El Paso Police.
Police sent out an alert to media on Wednesday, stating that a shooting was reported just after 3 p.m.

A spokesperson with the El Paso Fire Department says one person was transported with life-threatening injuries.
Police say US-54 Northbound at Pershing and US-54 Northbound at Railroad is being shut down.
