EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Salvation Army is encouraging young children to join their summer music program.
“The Music & Arts Conservatory” program will run from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday, June 10 through Sunday, July 7. On Sunday, July 7 the children will hold a graduation concert at The Salvation Army Citadel located at 4900 Hercules Ave.
“Our program improves children’s confidence and creativity. Music education today can lead to success tomorrow,” said Maj. Eloisa Estrada, commanding officer for El Paso Salvation Army.
According to the news release by the Salvation Army, the program is open to children ages 8 through 14. Registration fee is $30 and children receive free loaner equipment and materials to participate in a variety of music classes.
