KTSM News – Popular Japanese retail store Daiso to open in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Daiso, a popular Japanese retail chain, is set to open its first location in El Paso.

According to the news release by Daiso, the grand opening of their first store will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 1 at Las Palmas Marketplace, 11917 Gateway West Blvd.

On both Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, the first 100 customers to make a minimum purchase of $30 will receive a goodie bag and a plushie, according to Daiso.

According to Daiso, the store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

We are excited to provide an exceptional shopping experience to the vibrant El Paso community and look forward to serving our customers with the utmost care and dedication,” said Chief Retail Operations Officer for Daiso USA Jack Williams.

The 6,837-square-foot store will have a range of products including Japanese-inspired home décor, stationery, food and more, according to Daiso.
