Border Report – Mexico man with homicide warrant deported after Mission arrest

MISSION, Texas, (ValleyCentral) — A man with an active warrant for homicide in Mexico was arrested by McAllen Border Patrol agents.

According to a post from the U.S. Border Patrol RGV Sector, agents from the McAllen station arrested a man near Mission.

After conducting a record check they discovered that the man had an active warrant out for his arrest out of Mexico. The warrant was for homicide from the state of Mexico.

Agents contacted Mexican officials who were able to confirm the warrant and coordinated to have the man deported.
