EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Hospitals of Providence (HoP) is joining the fight to provide healthy food options for children during the summer.
“Healthy Over Hungry Cereal Drive” is a friendly competition among all HoP campuses to collect as many servings of cereal as possible, according to the news release by HoP.
The drive began on Monday, June 3 and ends on Friday, June 14 and HoP is encouraging their staff and the community to raise over 400,000 servings of cereal this year.
According to HoP, all cereal donations will be be given to the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.
Cereal donations can be delivered at any HoP campus and monetary donations can be made online here.
