KTSM News – EPISD to offer free summer meals to children at 32 campuses

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) is offering free summer meals to children through their Seamless Summer Option (SSO) meal program.

EPISD said the meals will be served from Wednesday, June 12 through Friday, June 28 for elementary, Pre-K-8 and middle schools. The meals will be served from Wednesday, June 12 through Friday, July 12 for high schools.

Children age 1 to 18 can eat at any participating site.

According to EPISD, the meals are provided without charge to any child, regardless of enrollment status in the district or residency.

For elementary schools, PK-8 and middle schools, breakfast will be served from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For high schools, breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
