KTSM News – El Paso Community Foundation provides 52 teachers with funding for classrooms

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Community Foundation is giving El Paso and Las Cruces educators funding for their classrooms.

The Foundation will host a Classroom Fund Grantee Reception at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11 at the Foundation Room, located at 333 N. Oregon St.

“The Classroom Fund” is a project to provide funding for educators to purchase classroom materials, according to the news release by the Foundation.

The Foundation says it has granted $50,000 for the project and will distribute the funding to 52 El Paso and Las Cruces educators.

The project raises money for basic supplies for art, specials needs and technology materials, according to the Foundation.
