EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy hump day! We’re under a weather authority alert for extreme heat, as triple digits soar across the Borderland.
The heat advisory will begin by noon with variable winds ranging from 5 to 10 mph at 102 degrees.
There will be a slight breeze throughout the day but expect those temperatures to rise to 107 by 4 p.m.
Tonight, temperatures will continue to stay very warm with clear skies. Expect lows in the mid-70s. Reminder to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen when heading outdoors.
