EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – It’s Friday and we continue to be under a weather alert for a heat advisory across the borderland. Starting at noon, we’ll begin to reach triple digits.
The morning will be very warm with mostly clear skies. Although, there will be a hot breeze with winds at 10 to 25 mph southwest, expect a high of 107 degrees paired with partly cloudy skies around 4 p.m.
The heat will linger until tonight with temperatures slightly dropping at 80 degrees. Make sure to drink lots of water and choose to stay in air conditioning rooms to prevent heat strokes and dehydration.
