KTSM News – Father’s Day 2024: Where dad can get a discount this year

Posted on June 13, 2024

(NEXSTAR) – For all the dads who ever said “Shut the door, we’re not paying to heat/cool the neighborhood,” this list is for you.

In honor of Father’s Day, major chains and local restaurants alike are offering dad a discount on June 16.

Some of the deals only require a discount code, while others require a special ability that mysteriously develops during fatherhood: telling a dad joke.

Panera is giving away $25 gift cards to 50 people who leave groan-worthy wisecracks in the comments of a Monday Instagram post. The contest is open until Friday at 12 p.m. CT; see the full list of rules and details here.

Here are some of the other Father’s Day deals on offer this year:

Wendy’s

From June 14 through Father’s Day, June 16, Wendy’s is offering a buy-one-get-one deal on Baconator sandwiches for those who use the app to order. Downloading the app and registering are required.

White Castle

No need to fire up the grill this Sunday, if dad is more of a White Castle guy you can get 20% off any order with the code WCDAD. See the coupon here.

Moe’s Southwest Grill

Moe’s is offering two $5 rewards with a qualifying $30 eGift Card purchase through June 16. Rewards will expire after August 31. See the Moe’s website for details.

McAlister’s Deli

You can score a similar deal at McAlister’s Deli, where a qualifying $30 eGift Card purchase will unlock two $5 rewards, through June 16. The rewards are valid through August 31, see full details here.

The Palm

Want to go big on Sunday? The Palm steakhouse is offering its King and Queen Cut Prime Rib meal starting at $79.

Texas de Brazil

If dad is more of a do-it-himself steak guy, Texas de Brazil is offering a free angus ribeye on all online butcher shop orders through Father’s Day with the code GRILLMASTER. See the restaurant’s website for more information.

Freddy’s

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is rolling out a special deal in honor of dad. You can score a $5 off $15 reward for Father’s Day orders by downloading the app before June 15, according to Eat This, Not That.

Shake Shack

Enjoy a free afternoon shake from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. daily through June 26. Offer is valid with the code FAVESHAKE at checkout and a $10 purchase. See more on the Shake Shack website.

Schlotzsky’s

Through June 17, score $10 in eRewards with the purchase of $30 in gift cards. The reward code must be unlocked before July 17, and will expire 14 days later.

Cinnabon

If dad has a sweet tooth, Cinnabon is offering a $5 reward for the purchase of $25 in gift cards. See the full terms here.

Olive Garden

If you’re considering a Father’s Day trip to Olive Garden this Sunday, you can add on an entree to go for $6.

Denny’s

Want to have breakfast at home with none of the prep or cleanup? Denny’s is offering free delivery through its website from June 14 through June 16, according to Eat This, Not That.

Carvel

Through June 16, you can get two $5 rewards for purchasing $30 in Carvel gift cards. The rewards, redeemable online, must be used before August 31.
