El Paso Taxpayer Revolt – RENARD JOHNSON STILL WANTS A DOWNTOWN ARENA!

Posted on June 17, 2024

Renard Johnson, the Escobar-backed candidate for Mayor who is backed by all the big developers and their bankers and attorneys, wants to “invest” in a downtown arena with your money in downtown El Paso.

Never mind that a privately built arena will be built at the Cohen site very soon without costing the taxpayers a single dime of bond money.

We can now predict that he will lose by a double-digit margin, just like his friend Dee Margo, who also backs his campaign.

If he’s lucky, he might be able to beat Gassandra, who is polling at slightly above zero.

When we checked the attached post on Johnson’s webpage early this morning, there were more than 40 comments, all of them angry at him for broaching such an incredibly stupid idea.

His handlers swooped in and deleted all the comments by 8:00am.

Hilarious.
