EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Two bodies were recovered in the desert in Doña Ana County Monday night, June 24, according to the Sunland Park Fire Department.
The Fire Department says the first body was found just before 9 p.m. in the desert off Highway 9 and the second body was found just after 10 p.m. off Strauss Road.
Both of the bodies were found by Border Patrol, according to the Fire Department.
The incident is under investigation by the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of the Medical Investigator.
