EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Three bodies have been recovered from the water near where El Paso and Sunland Park, New Mexico meet on Tuesday evening, June 25, the El Paso Fire Department said via its X social media account.
El Paso Fire and Sunland Park Fire on the scene at McNutt and Anapra for a body recovery operation. Initially, three bodies were reported and then five by El Paso Fire. That total has been revised back to three with a possible four person still being searched for.

Earlier, Sunland Park Fire recovered three bodies in the desert in less than a 24-hour period dating back to Monday night.
