EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The community is invited to participate in the Las Cruces Police Department’s (LCPD) Community Outreach Team’s second Lunchbox Lemonade which will be held Friday, June 28.
The Lunchbox Lemonade series encourages residents to have lunch with the Community Outreach Team, discuss police matters and share their concerns about public safety, according to a news release sent by LCPD.
Friday’s Lunchbox Lemonade will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 28 at the Metro Splash Pad and Park, 7125 Metro Park St.
LCPD said participants are encouraged to bring their own sack lunch. LCPD will provide free popsicles and cool lemonade courtesy of a community partnership with Raising Cane’s restaurant.
The series will be held at various splash pads throughout Las Cruces, including:
June 28, Metro Verde Splash Pad, 7125 Metro Park St.
July 12, Unidad Park Splash Pad, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.
July 26, Plaza De Las Cruces Splash Pad, 100 N. Main St.
Aug 9, Metro Verde Splash Pad, 7125 Metro Park St.
