EL PASO, Texas (KTSM)—Officials with the El Paso Police Department said a person stole an ambulance and initiated a police pursuit Tuesday morning.
Officials said the pursuit ended when the ambulance crashed on U.S. 54 at Pershing in northeast El Paso. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, all lanes are closed on Gateway North, and the clearing time is one hour.
It is unclear if there are any injuries resulting from this incident.
