EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — An unconscious female patient was found Saturday afternoon, July 6 at Mount Cristo Rey and was transported to a local hospital with what are being called non-life-threatening injuries, Sunland Park Fire said via its X account.

The patient was initially found by Border Patrol, and Sunland Park Fire was called out a little after 2:30 p.m. to the scene.
“Active cooling” was used on the patient before she was transported, Sunland Park Fire.
Sunland Park Fire told KTSM the patient was a woman in her 60s.
