El Paso Taxpayer Revolt – 300 PRO-PALESTINIAN PROTESTERS IN DOWNTOWN EL PASO

Today more than 300 El Pasoans voiced their support of Palestinian “resistance” against what they perceive as Israeli “apartheid, colonization, and genocide.”

None of the signs or slogans cited the massacre by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad of more than 1,400 Israelis on October 7, including the elderly and dozens of babies, nor did they call for freeing the 200 hostages still held in Gaza.

Many of the protesters chanted “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” meaning that Israel should be destroyed, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean.

Speakers compared Israelis to Nazis, and Gaza to a Nazi concentration camp.

Most of the protesters were in their twenties, some wearing green armbands in solidarity with Hamas, a designated terrorist organization, or concealing their faces with keffiyehs in imitation of militants in the Middle East.

There was only a single pro-Israel counter-protester, who held a lone sign expressing solidarity with Israel.
