EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Sun Metro will be introducing more payment options next week, the City of El Paso announced in a press release Monday, July 15.
The City says starting on Monday, July 22, all bus services including Fixed Route, Brio, and Lift will be equipped with new technology to make public transportation more convenient and accessible.
The new ticket validator equipment will offer riders to use various payment options including including mobile wallets, contactless card payments, and the ability to scan QR codes on printed tickets, according to the City.
“The project to expand payment options is part of Sun Metro’s commitment to enhancing the passenger experience by modernizing its technology,” the City said.
