KTSM News – EPISD to hold annual ‘Back to School Fiesta’ this July

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso ISD announced its second annual “Back to School Fiesta” which will be held at the end of July.

The school district says the celebration will be held at all 10 high schools, “each hosting an event tailored for their feeder patterns.”

The celebration will feature information booths and elementary students will receive school supplies during their meet-and-greet with teachers, while secondary students will have access to school supply kits in the classroom, the school district said.

The dates and locations for the celebration are listed below:

6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 30

Bowie (801 S. San Marcial St.)

Burges (7800 Edgemere Blvd.)

Coronado (100 Champions Pl.)

El Paso (800 E. Schuster Ave.)

Franklin (900 Resler Dr.)

Jefferson/Silva (4700 Alameda Ave.)

Irvin (5400 Sanders Ave.

6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 31

Andress (5400 Sun Valley Dr.)

Austin (3500 Memphis Ave.)

Chapin (7000 Dyer St.)

“El Paso ISD is committed to fostering a sense of community and collaboration, ensuring that our schools and neighborhoods thrive together,” El Paso ISD Superintendent Diana Sayavedra said. “It’s an opportunity for families to connect with their schools, gather important information, and kick off the new school year with enthusiasm and support.”
