KTSM News – Person injured after pedestrian crash in San Elizario

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A person was injured after a crash involving a pedestrian Tuesday morning, July 23, in San Elizario, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened just after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Las Pompas Road and Zacatal Drive.

The Sheriff’s Office says the crash involved a pedestrian and the victim was transported to a local hospital for further medical evaluation.

Special Traffic Investigators and the Crime Scene Unit were requested at the scene and took over the investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office says the intersection will be closed off until the investigation is complete.
